Notice of 2024 AGM
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the OBKA will take place on Tuesday 19th March 2024, at the Baptist Church, High Street, Kidlington, starting at 7.30 pm. Refreshments will be available from 7pm, with a honey tasting session to follow the formal business. Please be advised that the car parking is limited so if you are able to utilise nearby on-street parking that would be appreciated.
The agenda and reports will be distributed by Tuesday 5th March 2024.
A number of vacancies for the post of Trustee are available. For those interested, nominations require a proposer and seconder who must be OBKA members. Candidates must email a short statement (less than 150 words) to secretary@obka.org.uk summarising their experience and suitability for the role. The closing date for Trustee nominations is Monday 4th March 2024.
A description of the process, including voting, will be sent with the agenda. The AGM will receive reports from officers, and the budget for the year. Members will elect Trustees, and vote on any proposals to change our constitution, and any other resolutions.
A resolution is a proposal to change the way the association is run. Members may also propose changes to the constitution. Resolutions and proposals to change the constitution require a proposer and seconder, both of whom are members. They must be sent to the secretary by Thursday 15th February 2024.
