OBKA Training Apiary – An (Seasonal bee) Inspector Calls

Mark Lynch, our local Seasonal Bee Inspector, will be coming to the Marlborough School Teaching Apiary on the 30th April (Saturday) at Noon. He’ll discuss apiary hygiene, the importance of regular comb exchange, and demonstrate both a Bailey Frame Exchange and a Shook Swarm. All members welcome. The demonstrations will involve opening hives, and so please bring your clean bee suits wellies and gloves. No need to book

The session starts at 1200 (meet in the School staff car park) and is expected to last about 2 hours, so bring a packed lunch.

Please remember that this is a members benefit, so you need to be a current, paid up member for 2022.
