OBKA Training Apiary Bee Garden Tidy – 09 September 2023
An enthusiastic and energetic, despite the weather, group of members worked magic on the bee garden and apiary building in our Autumn garden Tidy session on Saturday 09 September 2023. Our Training Apiary manager, Andy Pedley, certainly seemed pleased!
The garden team tasks were completed with some planting undertaken, a bit of rain now needed.
We retired to the shade of the gazebo for a discussion led by Andy on autumn feeding and well earned refreshments.
Around £120 was raised through sale of surplus equipment. Still some left which will be available at the honey show, when we are inviting members to bring and buy of bee keeping their equipment. More detail in next newsletter
